At the Nantucket Daffodil Festival!

At the Nantucket Daffodil Festival!

Terri the Terrapin enjoying a break at the Nantucket Daffodil Festival.  The 2013 Nantucket Daffodil Festival was one of the best (in terms of weather) in years! Terri was able to see the antique car parade, enjoy the sunshine while wandering through the cobblestone streets of downtown, shop in the boutiques, and also see other parts of the island on a short island tour.  After a gorgeous day of sunshine and daffodils, it was a quick ride back to Hyannis on the high speed ferry.  Terri and the group enjoyed a stop at the Monument to the Forefathers in Plymouth, MA; a glassblowing demonstration at the Sandwich Glass Museum; lunch at a waterfront restaurant, 2 nights in Hyannis, a day trip to Nantucket, plus an afternoon in Boston on the way home.  The weather was perfect, the daffodils were beautiful, the group was filled with smiling faces (some wearing their “Daffy Hats”), and fun was had by all.

Check out the Terrapin Tours website to see where Terri is going next.  Don’t forget to find Terrapin Tours on Facebook – you can see more photos, keep up to date on tour happenings, and be the first to know about new trip announcements!
